Who We Are

Fox Valley Healthcare Emergency Readiness Coalition was established July 1, 2015.  This program is funded by the Office of Assistant Secretary for Preparedness and Response (ASPR). The original program began in 2002 as the Wisconsin Hospital Emergency Preparedness Program (WHEPP). To better serve our communities and state the program expanded to all healthcare partners.

We meet on a monthly basis to update partners on events, emergencies and exercises occurring in the community. We strive to strengthen relationships and increase the level of preparedness in the healthcare environment in the Fox Valley Area (East Central) part of Wisconsin. Meetings are designed to share best practices, lessons learned and network with other professionals. In an emergency all of these agencies and organizations will need to work together and communicate effectively to protect the health of the residents, workforce and visitors in the surrounding area.

The FV-HERC is open to anyone interested in the health and safety of our community. Our area covers 7 counties, Shawano, Outagamie, Calumet, Winnebago, Green Lake, Waupaca, and Waushara. We also welcome surrounding counties to participate.
