Mission & HistoryMissionTo be the most effective multi‐disciplinary, multi‐organizational team dedicated to facilitate coordination and communication among FV-HERC (East Central) healthcare organizations, local and state response agencies regarding preparedness planning and response as it pertains to emerging and emergent disaster events. The Fox Valley Healthcare Emergency Readiness Coalition is a multi‐disciplinary team working to: Educate the community and partner organizations, and assist and prepare the members of the Healthcare Coalition and the FV-HERC members to prepare to help protect our communities. HistoryFox Valley Healthcare Emergency Readiness Coalition was established July 1, 2015. This program is funded by the Office of Assistant Secretary for Preparedness and Response (ASPR). The original program began in 2002 as the Wisconsin Hospital Emergency Preparedness Program (WHEPP). To better serve our communities and state the program expanded to all healthcare partners. |
